Villa Överby - Grenzenlose Aussicht in Schweden; Enjoying an unlimited view in Sweden

Der schwedische Architekt John Robert Nilsson hat in der Inselreichen Küstenregion von Stockholm ein Ferienhaus entworfen, das mit sämtlichen Klischees eines typisch schwedischen „Stugas" bricht. Der Grundriss des Hauses, eine einfache rechteckige Form, ist klar in einen privaten und einen gesellschaftlichen Bereich gegliedert. Statt Türen als Raumtrenner sind hier die Wände raumhoch über Eck ausgeführt. Der offene Wohnbereich schließt schwellenlos an die kalksandsteinerne Terrasse an. Hier befindet sich eine windgeschützte Feuerstelle und ein Pool, der im tiefer gelegenen Meer zu münden scheint. Zur Nordseite präsentiert sich die Villa in einem matten Schwarz, währenddessen die drei weiteren Außenwände in Glas ausgeführt sind. Ein besonderes Feature bieten die innovativen Glasverbundscheiben der Fassaden. Diese verfügen über eine integrierte, unsichtbare Heizsystemlösung (E-Glas). Das elektronisch gesteuerte Glas von Quantum Glass löst Sichtprobleme, die aufgrund von Kondensation oder Schnee entstehen können.

In the archipelago region off the coast of Stockholm, Swedish architect John Robert Nilsson has dreamed up a holiday home that breaks with all clichés of the typical Swedish "stuga". The building's layout, a simple rectangular form, is clearly structured into a private and a common area. There are no doors; instead the space is partitioned by floor-to-ceiling walls, positioned perpendicular to one another. The open-plan living area flows into a sand-lime brick patio, which boasts a fireplace that is shielded from the wind and a pool that seems to run into the ocean below. The north-facing side of the villa is kept in matt black, while the other three outside walls have a glass finish. The innovative laminated glass panes on the façades, which come with a built-in, invisible heating system (e-glass), are a particularly attractive feature. The electronically controlled glass from Quantum Glass ensures enhanced visual and thermal comfort indoors and solves problems of visibility, which may arise as a result of condensation or snow.
